Manipal is teeming with individual talent, but how good are you in a team? A duet is much more than the individuals singing well. It is about complementing each other. It is not about proving yourself as the superior, but about shadowing your partner’s flaw, and vice-versa. Crescendo brings to you, Harmony.
Event 6: HARMONY (Vocal duet)
Date: 25 February ’17
Venue: Food Court
Participants will be allotted 4 minutes in Pre-Revels and 5 minutes in Revels.
RULES:
– Participants per team: Two.
– Karaoke track or an accompanist allowed (instrument only).
– Instruments will have to be arranged by the participants.
– Karaoke track should be brought in a CD/DVD or a pen drive (mp3 format only) and should be submitted at the time of registration.
– Failing to stick to the time limit will lead to deduction of scores (Utsav Rules)
– In case of any technical fault, timers shall be reset and the participant will be allowed to perform from the beginning.
– The decision of the judges and organizers will be final and binding.
EVENT TIME:
· Pre-revels : 2 hours
· Revels : 2 hours
LOGISTICS:
· Three microphones with stands
· 2 floor monitors
· Basic left and right speaker system with PA (with laptop input)
· Cordless microphone for emcee
